Recipes, What’s for Breakfast

What’s for Breakfast? Sausage and Scrambled Eggs with Veggies and Herbs

This morning we are having Firehouse Farm sausage patties and eggs with asparagus, wild onions and rosemary. This is entirely a farm grown dish of yum.

Two years ago when we were fiddleheading, we came across a huge amount of small wild onions, so we dug up a bunch and planted them in a patch on our farm. This year the patch got a bunch of gravel plowed onto it and we thought they were goners. These surprising little plants are very hearty and have pushed there way through the gravel to provide fresh lovely flavor for our meals.

Only the salt on the eggs is not from our little farm. I love when I make meals like this, it is so satisfying!
